zmud access violation

Access violation at 0x77D23118 (tried to write to 0x00E0FF4) program terminated. Has anyone gotten this error before? On my old computer (Windows xp zmud worked just fine I could close it and open it as many times as I wanted to, but when i switched over to my new pc (Vista) every time i close it and try to reopen it I gotta re-install it to get it to work again. Can someone tell me if there's something I can do to fix this?

zMUD isn't supported on Vista - CMUD is. zMUD is no longer under development - CMUD is. In short, if you encounter a problem in zMUD under Vista, it won't be changed to fix it.

CMUD also has a bunch more features than zMUD.

You can try installing into C:\zMUD to see if that helps.

But yes the free version you see on the site is a 30 day evaluation version. You can evaluate until that expires or you can go with your gut and buy it now. Very Happy

Depending on when you bought zMUD, you might be eligible for a discount or free upgrade to CMUD. If you log into the store and add CMUD to your cart, the price will change if you meet the criteria for any offers.
