zmud access violation |
Access violation at 0x77D23118 (tried to write to 0x00E0FF4) program terminated. Has anyone gotten this error before? On my old computer (Windows xp zmud worked just fine I could close it and open it as many times as I wanted to, but when i switched over to my new pc (Vista) every time i close it and try to reopen it I gotta re-install it to get it to work again. Can someone tell me if there's something I can do to fix this?

zMUD isn't supported on Vista - CMUD is. zMUD is no longer under development - CMUD is. In short, if you encounter a problem in zMUD under Vista, it won't be changed to fix it.
CMUD also has a bunch more features than zMUD. |

You can try installing into C:\zMUD to see if that helps.
But yes the free version you see on the site is a 30 day evaluation version. You can evaluate until that expires or you can go with your gut and buy it now. |

Depending on when you bought zMUD, you might be eligible for a discount or free upgrade to CMUD. If you log into the store and add CMUD to your cart, the price will change if you meet the criteria for any offers.
