Saving work with mapping..

Hello!

I've got a large area to map in my mud (lets say a 12x12 cube though the edges are kinda rough), and i've got the rooms all mapped, only the links between them aren't all connected - only the path that i took when i mapped is. Is there any way to have lined-up unlinked exits just link up, or do i have to walk every possible exit for every room?

Thanks!

Short of whipping up an alias to do the walking for you, or manually linking the rooms via the Link tool on the toolbar, you're going to have to walk each exit.

You're in luck, have a read of Vijilante's great script there.

In beta 6.53 (not sure how far back this feature extends), there's an autoconnect feature in the Mapper preferences. It won't help you with the existing 12x12, but now we all learned something new.
