Program becoming slow/choppy after running 10+ sessions.

Anything I can do to fix this? Prefer to run multiple instances of same session.

Nothing wrong with having a shared package, but for the sake of variables it is likely best to have separate named sessions.

However outside of variables or maybe #LOCATION objects on the map, I dont see that being why this would fail for you, but I could be wrong.

Does it only become choppy when you have multiple instances going?

Yes, only becomes visible after 8+ windows and nearly unplayable at 10+ . I was able to increase the amount of windows to 12 and still be playable by disabling gmcp.

After posting I tested by having 9 instances of one session with 4 other unique session and was experiencing same issue. Having my resource monitor up , CMUD would peak at 13% CPU usage (running an Intel I7 single socket 4 core).

Spoke to a few other players on the MUD. Seems to be a regular theme with CMud. One player opens multiple instances of the application to achieve 20 windows. Another uses ZMud since it's lighter on resources to open 30 windows.

Ideally I don't want to disable gmcp and give up access to the #ALL command.

I personally don't have any experience with that level of Multi-play to offer you a better workaround.
