Help importing triggers
 
Hi.
I have some trigs & aliases in a .txt file, but I don't know how to import them. When I try to simply copy & paste all the code into the command line, it says "illegal token" or something.

It's in a format like this:

Yuck. Okay, edit your file in a text editor. Everywhere you see "; #EC<carriage return>" replace it with nothing.
For some reason, long lines were split with this odd sequence. It means that the command is continued on the following line.
You need to edit it so that it really is on the same line.

There is one line that starts: "l#TRIGGER". Change that to "#TRIGGER"

You should end up with a series of lines, each of which starts with #something (e.g. #TRIGGER, #ALIAS, #STAT).
Simply copy these lines into your command line. You put multiple lines into the command line, or do them one at a time.
When you are done, be sure to go through the Changes for Zmud Users document, to check whether any of the code needs to be changed.
It doesn't look like anything does need to be changed--it's very simple code.
The only odd thing I see is the "atconnect" alias. I'm not sure what that is supposed to do, but it will probably have to be changed in Cmud.

I decided to do this for you, since I responded to your other post. Once again I strongly encourage you to read Changes for zMUD users. Here is some feedback.

You have several aliases(click here for more) such as anthrax and asgard that are essentially just paths (click here for more) and you may want to consider converting them, especially as you use more of the integrated mapper features.

You have a few triggers that use %1 in the trigger patterns. As I mentioned in the other post, is CMUD is more stringent on syntax and you have to use proper pattern matching in your triggers now. I updated the triggers to use %w.

Rahab has already mentioned the "l#TRIGGER" problem and I've corrected that as well.

Finally CMUD has lots of exciting New Features to enhance the MUDding experience. I strongly suggest you explore them.
