speedwalk room exit/enter problems

There are a few rooms on one of the Muds I play, Dune, that have delayed room movement with no intervening rooms. In other words, I type a single command to go from one room to the next room but there are a few seconds before movement. I know how to use #teleport and how to use #wait and #ok but #teleport doesn't work with speedwalk and a #wait/#ok would only work properly in one direction for each of the two joined rooms, if I did a #wait/#ok in the room in general it would affect me upon entering the room from other directions as well.

This problem has been bothering me from a while and it hasn't been easy to find the proper keywords to search for information on it, so I apologize if this is a general question.

If you are setup to use slow walking, you can set a longer time out value in the main preferences screen (under Scripting look for the Slow Walking tab). It is normally selected by default to time out in 5 seconds of not detecting the room, but you can extend that out to longer than what it takes for delayed rooms and the mapper should update properly.

I seem to have trouble with the room auto updater so I turned it off, if you can provide me some advice on resolving that I'd be willing to turn one problem into two fixes.

Appreciate any information you can provide, thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'room auto updater'.
