zmud saving settings

I've searched and I haven't found anything yet. So here's my delima. I finally got zmud to work on vista, but it won't save anything. No triggers, classes, variables, anything I try. Not even fonts. It all goes back to default everytime I restart it.

Any help would be appreciated.

zMUD isn't officially supported on Vista. The easiest solution would be to upgrade to CMUD, which is.

Make sure you read all the Vista-related stickies in this forum. You need to be running zMUD as an administrator so that it has write access to its folder - make sure that it really does have write access.

Aye I forgot to mention all of that. It's running as admin. And CMUD has major issues as well. The text randomly changes font to size 8, I believe is the size. It only does it when I first start a fight. But it remains that way until I restart CMUD.

I've never heard of that problem with CMUD - post a new thread in the CMUD forum about it, preferably with information on reproducing it. It's probably a problem with a specific trigger that's going off when you enter a fight.

Ok, I'll post it over there. But it's doing it without me making any triggers or anything yet. Just a clean install.

Anyway, no more ideas about Zmud?

When you say you're running it as an admin, do you mean you're logged in as an admin user or that you're following the instructions in
http://forums.zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26310

If you're just logged in as an admin user then that might be the problem. Also, try running zMUD with UAC turned off.
