Grrr...

I have a small but HIGHLY annoying problem, my copy of Z-mud, for whatever reason has decided to strike out everything in my output box, I can see the text but it has a line through it. I fixed it once.. after messing with a lot of settings, but have no clue what I did to fix it. Can someone help please?

Go to View->Preferences->Fonts->Output Window Font
Then uncheck Strikeout.

#MXP </s>

That will stop it when it occurs, but the real problem is likely to be a typo in the messaging that started the strikeout. You can verify this by going into Emulation Preferences and unchecking the Emulate Control Codes checkbox or checking the Display Control Codes checkbox. Depending on when the strikeout starts happening, you may need to close the session and reconnect.

I have tried that as well, the Display control was checked, as was the Emulation box, I did what you said and restarted Zmud, no change

You wouldn't have to restart ZMud, I was just suggesting that in case it was something happening at connection (which if the protocols and control codes were on, you'd never see if you turned them off manually).

The game and ZMud will negotiate and if the game supplies the proper commands, ZMud will automatically enable certain features (ie, MXP). IF you can't get to see the connection stuff until after ZMud processes it, you may have to resort to a #DEBUG:

#DEBUG test.txt trace.txt

I *THINK* trace.txt will have everything sent to/from the game in it's raw form, so looking in there should be enough to uncover an unclosed <s> tag or some similar problem.
