Having trouble with Simutronics game logins |
I've had a Zmud liscense practically forever, but admittedly have rarely used it over the years. But lately I wanted to give it a try, since a few versions back support for Simutronics games was added. I'd really like to see what I can do with Zmud in that regard but I seem to have hit a brick wall.
All the information I can find about Zmud's Simu support seems to be a bit out of date (I do recall being able to login and play with Zmud on a few occassions a year or two back), and so far no one I've come across can help me out. I am guessing they have updated the login system in some way, or that I may just be doing something wrong.
I can get to the login server and select the Gemstone IV character I wish to login, but I can't do -anything- after that. A message comes up saying it can't find/connect to the game server etc, I've tried putting in IP's and various server aliases but nothing seems to work.
So I'm at a loss with what to do next. I'd really like to be able to use Zmud after all. If by chance anyone else has had success logging into Simu games with Zmud in the recent past, I'd appreciate any advice or tips to try |

Sounds like a billing problem. I had this situation happen to me when my trial ran out. The game would not let my second account log in, but the play.net site would let me do everything account-related. I had to call Billing to fix the problem.

The situation is resolved. Lame quirk on Simu's part. NOt really surprised though.
