Need some help with multiplaying.

I want to open two seperate sessions that are completely independent of each other. Mainly I want to be playing on the same mud using two different sessions that have nothing to do with each other at all. If I go to the preferences of one and change something, it will effect all the sessions I have open that are logging into the same mud.

The main problem I am having is with the proxy server stuff. If I log in to one session and then open the other and input the proxy info, both of the sessions are going to begin using that proxy information. I just want to be able to log in normally with one session, and open another that will utilize the proxy server information.

Yes, unfortunately the proxy information is currently global and will effect all sessions. CMUD assumed that if you needed to use a proxy server to access the Internet, that all characters would need the same proxy server information.

Somebody else might have a workaround for this, but I'll add it to the wish-list for the future.

It is no bid deal. I decided to stop playing a MUD that I needed to cheat on in order to catch up and stay competitive. I just don't have the time to grind and spend hours questing to only do the same the next day and still be no where near the piece of gear I wanted. I am looking for some fast, easy, casual PK muds right now.
