Need some help with multiplaying. |
I want to open two seperate sessions that are completely independent of each other. Mainly I want to be playing on the same mud using two different sessions that have nothing to do with each other at all. If I go to the preferences of one and change something, it will effect all the sessions I have open that are logging into the same mud.
The main problem I am having is with the proxy server stuff. If I log in to one session and then open the other and input the proxy info, both of the sessions are going to begin using that proxy information. I just want to be able to log in normally with one session, and open another that will utilize the proxy server information. |

Yes, unfortunately the proxy information is currently global and will effect all sessions. CMUD assumed that if you needed to use a proxy server to access the Internet, that all characters would need the same proxy server information.
Somebody else might have a workaround for this, but I'll add it to the wish-list for the future. |

It is no bid deal. I decided to stop playing a MUD that I needed to cheat on in order to catch up and stay competitive. I just don't have the time to grind and spend hours questing to only do the same the next day and still be no where near the piece of gear I wanted. I am looking for some fast, easy, casual PK muds right now.
