question about ~

Is there anyway whenever I input ~, I dont have to input ~~ twice before it shows up? Everytime I input ~ alone it just ignores it.

Nope. ~ is, by default, the quote character that tells ZMud to treat special characters (ie, @, #, %, etc) as regular text. Being a special character itself, you need to use ~~ when you want to send it to the MUD or to a zmud command/function when it is your selected quote character.

If you're trying to use it in a trigger, depending on whether you have other wildcards in the pattern or not you can set that trigger to Verbatim and it will be treated as text.

Well, you could change the quote character itself, but I was assuming you wanted to keep it. Check out the Special Characters preferences, you can change ~ to whatever you want. The same problem will exist for that character, though.
