question about ~ |
Is there anyway whenever I input ~, I dont have to input ~~ twice before it shows up? Everytime I input ~ alone it just ignores it.

Nope. ~ is, by default, the quote character that tells ZMud to treat special characters (ie, @, #, %, etc) as regular text. Being a special character itself, you need to use ~~ when you want to send it to the MUD or to a zmud command/function when it is your selected quote character.
If you're trying to use it in a trigger, depending on whether you have other wildcards in the pattern or not you can set that trigger to Verbatim and it will be treated as text. |

Well, you could change the quote character itself, but I was assuming you wanted to keep it. Check out the Special Characters preferences, you can change ~ to whatever you want. The same problem will exist for that character, though.
