Auto Reconnect

Hey. Probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to locate any answer for myself, so I am asking you zMUD wiz people.

Is there a command available to alter the autoreconnect switch on a character?

In other words, some way to turn on/off the auto reconnect feature without being at the computer to do it.

No, this is done thorugh the preferences. There is no command for it.

However, you can create your own auto-reconnect and disable/enable it as you like. Look at the #DISCONNECT and #CONNECT commands to help you achieve this. If you need a way to find out if you are connected or not, checking the value of %ctime and seeing if it changes should do.

Alright, just curious as to whether or not it could be done with a simple function.

I can do it the hard way, it's just a little more effort. :)
Hooray for boolean variables. :(

Thanks.
