Auto Reconnect |
Hey. Probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to locate any answer for myself, so I am asking you zMUD wiz people.
Is there a command available to alter the autoreconnect switch on a character?
In other words, some way to turn on/off the auto reconnect feature without being at the computer to do it. |

No, this is done thorugh the preferences. There is no command for it.
However, you can create your own auto-reconnect and disable/enable it as you like. Look at the #DISCONNECT and #CONNECT commands to help you achieve this. If you need a way to find out if you are connected or not, checking the value of %ctime and seeing if it changes should do. |

Alright, just curious as to whether or not it could be done with a simple function.
I can do it the hard way, it's just a little more effort. :)
Hooray for boolean variables. :(
Thanks. |
