I only get the long load time the first time I click on the Mud Connector List tab. Then I can click back and forth OK (without closing the Connections window).

The first time you click the MUD Connector tab it is opening the database and reading the MUD connector list into memory. CMUD doesn't do this until you click the tab to save on memory resources for people who don't need the mud list in memory. But once loaded it should be quick to toggle back and forth.
And as always, the beta versions are not performance tuned and so stuff like this could get faster in the future when I have time to tweak it. |

You should maybe change the mouse to an hourglass while it is loading though.

i agree with seb. change the cursor to the wait cursor while its loading.. This will help eliminate user impatience some.
