The alias beneath causes an exception in zMUD. If it doesnt crash the first time try spam the alias a few times.
#alias test {
a.b = "a"
a.c = "c"
a.d = "d"
}

Verified and fixed in 1.09. Looks like it was a problem with var.prop=value assignment when it wasn't the first line of an alias. Rorso's good at finding these obscure parsing bugs :)
