For 1.06? No, not yet. Zugg's gone on vacation for the holiday so he didn't have a chance to post anything regarding that version yet. There should be a blog entry for 1.05, though, which should get you close enough to guess, and there's always the sticky posts (Known issues and such).

Ok, thanks for the response. I purchased cMUD, but I am waiting for certain options to become available before I dive in to the new software.

I don't release specific schedules for specific features. But here is the general outline of what you can probably expect:
Phase 1 - Stability
This is the phase we are currently in. This is mostly bug fixes. It also involves getting all of the multiple session and multiple window support working properly.
Phase 2 - SSH
The SSH addon for CMUD will be created, and the separate zTelnet/zSSH/whatever-its-called application will be released in its first beta version. This also involves replacing some of the low level network socket code and updating support for proxy servers. This also involves restoring the FTP functionality, which will support SFTP and improved synchronization with the terminal session.
Phase 3 - More Features
In this phase, additional features will be added to CMUD. The list of features is not yet complete and is subject to change, but involves improved import/export, enhanced gauges, zApp scriptable forms, better support for alternate programming languages, customizeable style support, help system, and chat features.
Phase 4 - Prep for Public Release
This is all bug fixes in preparation for a public release.
Be sure to also view the Things not found in the CMUD Beta article for a list of features planned for CMUD and a rough idea of which will be done in the first public version, and which will be done after the first public version.
Also, feel free to create a new topic to let me know what features you are waiting for. I try to prioritize features based upon the number of people who need a new feature. |

I was thinking about this a bit more last night. And I think I'm going to change this order a bit. Even though I'm personally really interested in the SSH stuff for my own use, after some hard thinking, I realized that it's not as important for CMUD as some of the stuff in Phase 3. And I really need to stay focused and work on the stuff that is most important.
So, I think I'm going to flip the order of Phase 2 and Phase 3. I'm going to work on Phase 3 first to get CMUD as complete as possible. Then, if time permits before the planned public release, I'll do the SSH stuff. If Phase 3 takes longer than expected, then I can always pospone the SSH stuff until after the first public release. After all, the SSH stuff is an Addon to CMUD, and the SSH client is a separate product, so it really seems to make more sense to get CMUD more completed before getting distracted by other products.
I'm certainly open to feedback on this though. |

Hey Zugg... all I can say is THANK YOU! I am patiently waiting on the gauges. Can't wait to see them.
