zMUD not closing properly

There are quite a few times when I exit out of zMUD and it doesn't seem to close properly. The process seems to hang. I'll look at my processor usage and it's nearly pegged and it's the zMUD.exe process that is the culprit.

I'm running zMUD 7.20a on Windows XP SP2 on a Dell Latitude D800 laptop with a 1.8ghz proc with 2gb of RAM. I am up-to-date on all the MS hotfixes and patches.

I have admin privledges on the machine.

Just as a quick question to CuM (...wait....CuM?...nevermind)
Is this all the time? or do you have some scripts that use the map and don't close themselves?

This problem is present even in 7.21. The cause of it is a script that is still stuck in an actively operating mode when exitting. Check all your scripts for loops like #WHILE and #UNTIL that can possibly get into a hung state. Then add some status bar items that are turned on and off with '#Tą id status' directly before and after the loops. This will allow you to find the ones that are having trouble. Keep in mind that once those scripts are hung in a loop they are sucking at your processor and slowing all of zMud's preformance.
