Yep, here is the quick fix to 1.04 that you were waiting for. It fixed the crash in the settings editor whenever you type in the Value field. I also added a couple of buttons to the new modules/windows for converting between one and other and for opening the preferences window for the current module/window. That should make it easier to convert existing windows into modules.
