Problems with 4.62

I run Zmud 4.62 from work, And have been getting an ugly error lately. A little while back Zmud crashed with a strange error, and ever since then my .MUD files have been erasing themselves. If I close Zmud and then REOPEN Zmud, the mudfiles are erased as they are opened. It's becoming very frustrating to replace each .MUD file everytime I log in...my MUD folder is filled with dozens of backup copies for everytime I log in...What's going on here and is it fixable?

It is possible the settings files have become corrupt. Take a look at http://forums.zuggsoft.com/zmud/migrating.htm

Can't help much with a version that is about 8 years old now. You should really upgrade to 7.21 is you expect much help here.

Yeah, I've got 7.21 at home, but since I only work here in the summers, I never bothered with it here, because it was more complicated than just copying and pasting the folder over to the work computer....So I just stuck with a version I could copy and paste without a problem.

I've had no problems copying and pasting the entire zmud folder between windows installations before. Do the 7.21 install on the work machine, then copy the folder from your home machine. might not be supported or recommended, but I've never had it fail, even with them installed in different locations on my desktop and laptop
