New to CMUD and ZMUD - No tutorial

I just downloaded CMUD. I chose it because it sounded like it was easier and more technically advanced than ZMUD for today's computers. I used ZMUD years ago, but have been away from MUDS for some time and now just coming back to it. I realize that CMUD is in beta; however, there is not tutorial or help file connected with my purchased product and I frankly have no idea what I'm doing now. I probably should have purchased ZMUD instead because it probably does have a tutorial and help files. I don't even know where to begin now and am wondering if I read the help files somewhere for ZMUD will that help me with CMUD? Should I count my losses and purchase ZMUD since I'm a newbie and have no idea what I'm doing with a product with no help files. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Reading the help files for zMud will definitely help because there is a lot of compatability in the scripting commands (one of the driving requirement's of CMUD design) and it would provide an excellent refresher on MUDding with an advanced client.

When you want to tackle the more advanced features of CMUD these links should help you sort out the features.

http://forums.zuggsoft.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=22657 and http://forums.zuggsoft.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=22660 Will tell you the intended feature list.
http://forums.zuggsoft.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=23972 Will tell you what it currently handles.
http://forums.zuggsoft.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=24067 Will tell you what the next beta version will address (this includes a revamped and easier to understand approach to packages, modules and sessions)

Also as a caveat, the 1.04 tentatively targeted for this week will address many of the nuances that may arise when doing setting features. Finally if you have any specific questions we in the forums will be more than happy to help.
