Just bought my fourth (fifth?) copy of zMud |
This one came with CMUD, woot! I haven't really been mudding in the past year, but the new architecture of CMUD sounds very nice. Now, to see how stably it runs...

Raven's been around for a while (although he's been on a break...welcome back!), so I'm sure he knows about it being beta ;)

Welcomed back by the MAN HIMSELF! Woot!
Been reading through some of your blog posts... you're not a big one on that whole 'life/work balance' concept, are you? 100-120 hour workweeks in July, what the heck?
Ahh well. CMUD is, predictably, flakey. But it looks promising. Now, can I tear myself away from WoW long enough to actually go mudding again... hrm... |

Well, the long workweeks were in early June. By July (after vacation) we had a better system in place to keep me from burning out so easily ;) But yeah, it was pretty crazy for a while there.
Still playing WoW? I got bored with it over a year ago. Although it might be worth playing again when the new expansion is released.
Once CMUD gets a bit more stable, I'm planning to play more MUDs myself. It's been a while and I think I lost touch with it. I'm hoping that by taking time to play more MUDs I can make CMUD even better. But it's been a good reminder of how fun MUDs are, even if they don't have the flashy graphics of WoW. |

If you do find yourself playing muds again, I would suggest from an economic point of view, to get yourself aquinted with the muds that have players that pay. You are more likley to get people to buy CMud from those Muds I would think.
(this way you can justify playing as a business expense!) |

It's all about the group. A good guild/clan makes all the difference... am I a bit bored with WoW? Yeah. Am I bored with the best guild I've ever been a part of in any game ever? Nope.
