2 quick sound questions....

1. Is there a way to turn down the volume on #play? I like to listen to music, and sometimes it get turned up... But then when a #trigger goes off, and it has #play in it... My ears will either bleed, or glass shatters... =[

2. What IS the difference between #play and #media. Other then #media plays video clips and what not... But really, what is the difference? o.0

1) Not really. The way zMUD controls the sound volume to work on older versions of Windows causes it to change the master volume of the computer. CMUD fixes this and uses more modern DirectSound support that zMUD couldn't use.

2) #play just plays a file using a low-level WAV mixer/driver that supports multiple sounds at the same time. #media sends stuff to the Windows Media subsystem, which is limited to only playing a single sound at once, but also has commands for Next, Previous, Stop, Pause, etc. See the zMUD help file for more details on the #media command.

So.... Basically, there is no way to turn it down... =[ Perhaps a plugin or something that a smart person has made? All in all, I love zMud, but I've lost alot of blood from my ears because of the volume. On a different note, I suppose I can edit the actual wave to turn the volume down on it naturally! LoL!
