Need help with a healing trigger |
I play a mud called Alter Aeon(it rocks) and I was making a healing bot and was wondering how can I make a trigger so that with a command I can focus on a player and keep him spelled up and so any help would be very helpful.

This varies greatly depending on the exact messages that the MUD sends, the commands that you need to use, and the specific way you want the script to behave.
Look in the help file for more info on triggers and aliases so that you can get some ideas. Otherwise, without more information about what exactly is going on and what you want it to do, we can't help you much more than that. |

If you post saying what commands you'd normally enter to spell up your character, and also post with the messages that you'd normally see when the spells run out then we can start pointing you in the right direction.
So you might first type
'cast magicarmour guinn'
and the game would show
'You magic up some armour to make you uber strong...'
Then 5 mins later you might see
'Your magic armour fades away'
and that might be the moment you'd want to recast it.
The trigger to recast would be (without having zmud nearby to be sure of the syntax)
#TRIGGER (Your magic armour fades away) {cast magicarmour guinn} |

These are the following strings for the basic triggers I made, also in the mud some mobs are spelled up so I dont want to make the mistake of spelling them up when I have the auto spell trigger for my group member:
Sanctuary-A cityguard is surrounded by a white aura.The white aura around A Ralnoth cityguard fades.
Stone- A cityguard's skin turns grey and granite-like. A cityguard's skin fades from grey stone to normal color.
Displace-A cityguard's image blurs and shifts to one side.A Ralnoth cityguard's displaced image abruptly rejoins its body
These are the 3 basic spells I want to use to auto-spellup my tank |
