Trouble with login

Recently gave in to the use of Zmud due to triggers. However upon finally getting everything set up I ran into a huge problem...I CAN'T LOG IN! Every time that i enter my char name it automatically enters directional commands (sw, e, u, n, w, etc...) as my password and obviously this is a problem because those aren't my passwords...

Also after it's finished telling me that I'VE entered the wrong password it proceeds to list all online users atm which is a huge list to go through.

I figured that maybe it was some built in trigger but if it is I am unable to locate and/or fix the problem.

I play BatMud for what it's worth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a real pain.

Just sounds like the password field has been filled in incorrectly. Right click on the batmud icon when zmud first starts up and select properties, then click the character tab and uncheck 'automatically use this character name and password to log in' if it's checked

You can also right-click on the character icon in the Character Database window and select offline. Then once it has loaded click the gun icon next to the command line. This will then have an [red]X[/red] over it to indicate that triggers are no longer active. You can then connect using the command "#CONNECT" in the command line. After connecting, you can turn on the triggers again (by clicking that gun icon) so you can do what you want until you figure out the problem causing the automatically generated autologin triggers to fail. While those triggers are generally created correctly to perform the required login sequence, there are just some cases where it doesn't work. Perhaps another user playing on the same mud will be willing to post thier own atuolog triggers.
