Infinite command after a trigger fired

Within 101 I created a trigger in an attempt to gag the prompt line:

#tr gagprompt {^> $} {#gag}
Trigger options are set as default.

then I input 'west' to move somewhere to check if the '>' line is successfully gagged but the command 'west' begins to infinitely repeat, flooding the session window.

Is this a bug or some problem with preference setting?

Grr. I can't really even confirm this and add it to the known issues thread at this point. Sadly I have very little time for testing. I will make an effort to get up to a point where I can test all posts and put those that are confirmed in the Known Issues thread. Hopefully all the other old Guru's will do the same. We are still a volunteer group, so please bear with us while things are sorted out.
