CMUD BETA RELEASED! |
The time has finally come! The first beta version of CMUD has been released.
Please remember that this is a beta version. Please read the license agreement and beta agreement carefully. Please read all of the sticky topics in the CMUD Beta Forum so that you'll know how to properly report bugs so that CMUD can improve.
To download CMUD, go to the Downloads menu at the top of this page and select CMUD.
To buy CMUD, go to the Purchase menu at the top of this page and add CMUD to your shopping cart.
IMPORTANT: To get your discount as an existing zMUD customer, you must log into the Zuggsoft store BEFORE you finish purchasing CMUD. If you have forgotten your login password, use the Recover Password link on the left side of the store page.
Once you are logged into the store, when you add CMUD to your Cart, it will show whatever price you qualify for based upon the purchase date of your zMUD license. If you have multiple zMUD licenses, the most recent will be used first.
IMPORTANT: Once you get to the Checkout section of the shopping cart and enter your credit card or Paypal information, your old zMUD license will be marked as "used" to prevent multiple discounts. It is marked as "used" BEFORE your payment is verified. So if you get a bank error for your credit card information, be sure and use the Back option to correct your information. Do NOT exit the store or clear your cart. If you clear your cart, then your zMUD order is marked as "used" and you won't be able to get the discount again.
I tried to design the discount system to work as painlessly as possible. But I also had to consider the possible abuse that certain types of people might try to use to get a bunch of free or discounted copies of CMUD.
Anyway, enough of the boring license talk...go give CMUD a try. CMUD will coexist safely with zMUD. You can install them both into the same directory and CMUD will attempt to load your old zMUD settings. But CMUD will not alter any zMUD file. So you should be able to try CMUD safely without messing up your primary zMUD files.
Thanks to everyone for all of their support during this time. It's been quite a year since we first started talking about "zMUDXP" and that turned into CMUD. I hope you like what you see. And it will only keep getting better thanks to your suggestions!
Happy CMUDing! |
