This is a volunteer support forum. To get help, you should post as much detail about your question as possible. My guess is that nobody understands exactly what you are asking.

Also, you need to be patient. You only posted your question a few hours ago.

Yes, please do explain better what you are trying to do.

Make sure that you have already read the help file entries for the functions and commands you mentioned so that you understand what they do. If you still have any doubts about them, then explain here clearly what it is you do not understand.

Also, since it seems you are trying to get the mapper to find the room in the map in which you are currently located, have a look at the #FIND command. This command does the same thing as when you click on the Actions|Find location on MUD menu item on the mapper window. It will issue a look command to your MUD and attempt to figure out where you are in the map based on the room name and description that the MUD outputs. However, in order for this to work correctly, the mapper must already be properly configured to capture the room information of your MUD. Make sure this is the case.

What you asked for is a very complex issue. Add to that that it also requires custom talioring to fit your exact mud, and then your request is in the area of nebulous. Consider a lack of practical data and you reach the galactic proportion of MIND READER. While I am ocasionally capable of producing scripts on this scale, I have actually exhausted my supply of mind reading skills for the entire year. The best answer I can give you is look back a few months in the Finished Scripts Forum for my post on completely overiding the automapper. What you asked for is contained in that script, but without practical data there is no possible way for me to even try to make a more specialized version just for you.

That is why I didn't give you any sort of answer before. My best answer just plain sucks, and that really is the best I have to offer at this time.
