distant request -> logging: full vs window |
This may be because I'm using Charbal's HTML logger, but I was wanting a way to be able to choose to log all text from a window (regardless of gags or replaces) instead of just what ends up getting displayed in the window.
Most people will just want what is displayed in the window as logged, but it would be helpful if there was some way to do the other as well. |

Isn't this already an option? Simply uncheck "log after triggers"

Then its an issue with Charbal's logger, because unchecking that does nothing to the logs.

It's a plugin, isn't it? If it is, then you're right. If I remember correctly, the API provides several different ways to receive output from the mud. It can process the output before anything else, after triggers have been processed, and I think there was a third way, dealing with raw buffers with escape codes and such.
Anyway, I believe Zugg said that CMUD will be able to log to html, so that option will most likely be added again. |

Yeah, I thought it might be related to the plugin and said so in the initial post. I'll just have to log in ansi and then convert later in the meantime and it sounds like I will through the early beta period. C'est la vie. It isn't all that important for me at the moment.
