Hurrah |
All I can say is this: I found out that CMUD was a project like 2 days ago and started reading up on it. I am so eager to get my hands on this that I can barely wait. I know I will buy full copy as soon as it is out.
Keep up the good work.. You have a new customer waiting!
ps.. I am telling all my friends to get excited about this too, hopefully some enthusiasm will spread. |

Yeah. Too bad he's set on Chiara's Mud Client, he could probably get away with renaming it to "The Perfect MUD Client" or "The Greatest MUD Client Ever".

GMUD is taken.
And "The Perfect MUD Client" would be painting himself into a corner: how would he justify releasing version 1.1? ;)

How about using a naming convention such as Capcom used when releasing so many variations of Street Fighter 2?
CMUD
Super CMUD
Super CMUD: Champion edition
Super CMUD: The new challengers
Super CMUD: Hyper fighting
I think there was at least one more but I can't remember all of those.
(Of course, this is just a joke. ) |

Actually, I'm always fond of the:
CMUD EXTREME
then there is:
CMUD XXX
but that's probably for a different market. (And besides, for it to be any good we'd have to get a license with Vin Deisel)
(I can't believe I responded to this thread ;) |

Let's please not have forum games here. There is really no need for them.

MUDs, the final frontier. Go where no woman has gone before. *cue spacey music and footage of a comet flyby*

I would go for seamer's version if there wasn't a huge number of hot girls I know who MUD.

WEll it is tongue in cheek, especially when you consider who CMUD is named after :)

OK, I think we have all had our fun now. Since this thread has significantly deviated from the original post, I'm locking it now.
Thanks to LazarusSnow for your original post and nice comments about the upcoming CMUD. Sorry your post got hijacked. I'm as much to blame as anyone for letting this get out of hand (since I posted my own silliness). |
