Zmud Freezing

Hello,

I purchase zmud some time ago, and have been using it to play various muds over the last several months. For one mud I used a system which forced me to connect through 'localhost' before connecting to the specific mud. This work perfectly fine for a long time, however, suddenly when I attempt to connect to this character, my CPU usage shoots up to 100%, and my zmud completely freezes up.

I am able to run this system perfectly fine through any other system on my computer, and have tried everything within the system itself to attempt to make it work. I am assuming that it must have something to do with zmud itself. I have attempted to make a new character to remove any buggy or loopy triggers and such, and have removed both the system and zmud from my computer and re-installed them both, and they still refuse to run again. Any idea how I can fix this and stop my zmud from freezing up?

From what I read you are using zMud to connect through a local proxy/tunnel/redirector, everything was fine for a long while then something changed and your CPU hits 100% and you get frozen.

You have tried this on "any other system" means that you have tried it on other computers with no issue? Or does this refer to other characters with zMud and you have no issues when connecting directly. Does this mean your freeze only happens when you use the local proxy/tunnel/redirector?

What do you mean exactly by they refuse to run again? Do they try and connect and always hit 100% and freeze?
