Two Characters Same Mud

This is what I did

---------
Character 1 : Jerry
Primary : ABC.mud
Layout : Layout.lay

Character 2 : Harry
Primary : ABC.mud
Layout : Layout.lay
---------

It is causing me two problem. If i connect the first time from Zmud, nothing much happens. However if i quit and choose another character, two bugs appear.

1) Corrupted Layout, and layout is not loaded.
2) It login the first character again. * It seems the first character name in memory is not removed *

I close zmud and choose the second character and it logins correct, but the same problems happens when I try to login the first character without exiting zmud.

Seems variable are not cleared..

Okay it solves the corrupted layout.

But still it doesn't solve the "stuck" login profile.

If i choose Harry, Harry connection will still be executed even if i click on Jerry's connection. Unless I restart zmud, can Jerry work, but Harry would not work in this case.

You are not allowed to use more than one layout file, ever, even in a multi-play situation. You are trying to connect two characters using two instances of the same layout. What you have to do is:

1)edit out the layout file for one character
2)open up both characters (offline or connected, it doesn't matter)
3)position windows as desired, if not where they are at already
4)Save the layout

When you save the layout, a popup window will appear asking for the name of this character icon or something to that effect. This is the multiplayer layout, and it's stored in the Character Database where your single-play characters are (when you click the Characters button or first start up ZMud, you will see this new file in that window). You can go ahead and re-edit your other character's layout file back if you want.
