[7.20b] Mud Prompt Classing question

Is it intended behavior for View->Preferences->Mud Prompt variables to save twice every time a new prompt comes up IF they are being assigned to a class variable? For example, using "./Generic/hp" instead of just using "hp" as the variable name? Currently, it saves the variable twice to the class as separate variables and multiplies that every time the prompt is saved. The last time I checked, it created 120 "hp" variables. I thought it was rather funny. Yes, I am aware I could create a trigger and override this dialog box. Just wondering.
