Onroomenter bug |
Using SLOW mode for speedwalking.
Create the following:
#ALIAS testwalk {#SLOW .3d3u}
#ALIAS onroomenter {say hi}
It is processed as the following:
d;d;say hi;d;say hi;u;say hi;u;say hi;u;say hi;say hi |

This was tested by 5 different users under multiple conditions. All mappers were working correctly. Each user tested at 3 different muds.
For mapper bugs, I ask other people to test the conditions instead of just trusting my own. |

It seems Zugg has once again proven why he's the best.
Here's the solution:
In Map Preferences->Speedwalking there is a Step Delay box.
By increasing this, it will solve the problem. From what myself and the rest of the test group are seeing, a value of at least 750ms should work fine. |

Pseudo your probably right. As a matter of fact an excellent tutorial done by Nexela reccomends exactly that.

I agree, the tutorial is excellent. In fact, I read it multiple times when I was trying to solve the problem. Unfortunately, neither it nor any of the other searches helped me connect onroomenter to the Step Delay used by #slow. It was a simple case of connecting A-B-C where B is assumed. Hopefully this topic will help others with the same problem.
