keypad and arrow keys

I am trying to assign macros to the keypad and when I do that macro also shows up in the arrow keys. How do I seperate the arrow keys from the keypad...I know this is the most basic stuff...but there I am.

You don't. The four arrow keys and the number keypad keys are mapped separately from each other (this is done at the keyboard hardware level, so it's nothing that ZMud can control). Is num-lock on? Are you on a laptop using one of the keypad addons? Those can cause issues.

Thanks,
It is probably the num lock since it is seperate when I use another game with it's own client. Off to try it!

PostPosted: Wed Sep 21, 2005 12:48 pm   why?

No it did not work with the num lock on or off... Why does it work with another client and not with Zmud. I do have a wireless keyboard that has a built in keypad, not an add on. So why will he keypad and the arrow pad work seperately with another client and not with Zmud?
I would love to fix this...
thanks
