Alias / trigger / etc searching |
In the wishlist, I posted the idea for a way to search for aliases/trigs/etc, via a variety of methods (and target searches). Matt Lofton responded that this was already possible in a GUI interface...
This topic is for Matt Lofton, I just didn't want to spam the wish list. Can you elaborate, please? :P My primary use for this is for aliases, and I generally need a quick return. I am currently using this alias, which was given to me in these forums:
Code: |
Alias: ma #loop %session.NumAliases {#if %match(%session.AliasNum(%i).Name,%1) { #echo %session.AliasNum(%i).Name} } |
The alias is effective, but it is somewhat slow, and searches for wildcard matches on all ends of my search. This can be useful at times, but with some 4600 aliases currently, it tends to be very spammy. When searching for a specific alias, I often have to pick through a list of 10-100 returned results. |

In the Settings Editor there is a filter function (on the lefthand side under the toolbar). Type a keyword and click on filter.

Is there a quicker way to access the function? (a control-key combo?)
