Spell checking and multiple sentences

I can't seem to get the spell checker to look at anything past my first sentence. Anything spelled incorrectly prior to the period to end the first sentence is highlighted. Anything after it is not. If I type "abc. def. ghi.", only the first "abc" is highlighted.
Is there a way to change this so that it catches everything I type? I very often type full paragraphs, it would be handy to have it spell check everything. |

Go ahead and submit that as a bug in the bug tracking section (in the Support menu above). It's hopefully some simple option in the spelling preferences that I missed.
