multiplaying through different ip addresses |
hey,
i was wondering if anyone could help me. i wanted to know how i could run two instances of zmud each on its own proxy server. i want to log two chars on at the same time through different ip addresses through zmud but i dont know how to do it :( what im doing now is running zmud through a proxy server and also using telnet on my own ip address but i hate telnet.

You can not run two instances of Zmud also trying to get around a Mud's Multiplaying rules will not get you anywhere its just not fair to everyone else that you get too play two chars at a time.
If there is some reason that doesnt involve multiplaying please elaborate I would love to here it!

sorry i didnt realize this kindof post was frowned apon it wasnt to get around a muds multiplaying rules but to keep my characters totally seperate in the eyes of the muds staff (for personal reasons ).

What you could do instead is have one character connect to the proxy IP and have the proxy then forward requests on that port whichever IP address you choose. Not sure if that fits the setup you have. Or something like AnalogX...
