Old Zmud function |
In zmud 4.62 their is a function that i cannot find in the newer versions
here is what it does
If i was writing a message to someone and in the middle of it i notice i have to move around on the mud i usually pressed numpad 5 to glance and automaticly it would mark everything i had written in the command line, then i would use ctrl-c to copy it and do what ever i needed. Once i was safe again i could just paste whatever i had written and continue. In the newer versions of zmud it only marks what you have in the command line if you complete and send the message. pressing numpad 5 does not mark it. It's a trivial thing but i've grown very attached to that function as it speeds up conversing while doing other stuff.
Does anyone know if this is possible via some setting in any newer Zmud? |

ALT+E and then a selects all on the command line. Not sure if there's a simpler way, though

Spoke too, soon. Make a macro with this as the command: #MENU EDIT|Select
That's exactly what you want. ;) |

Oh, and just so you know, instead of having to hit ctrl c to copy, you can add to your macro to do it for you:
#MENU Edit|Select
#MENU Edit|Copy
And if you wanted, another macro with MENU Edit|Paste
I love zmud |

Whenever I have something typed in the commandline and want to save it for later (when something comes in between), I will just press the down arrow. That way it will be stored in the buffer, and can later be retrieved by the up arrow(or multiple times up)
