Automapper Question

Having troubles getting the automapper to work correctly. Configured fine, even tried changing some configuration settings to make it work. Still nothing, ergo, a post. MUD in question is Lusternia, although all the IRE MUDs look like this. Room output looks either like this:

A panoramic view of the City.
Hanging down from the ceiling, a bell made out of solid bronze is here. A
raised dais of obsidian stone flares with the fires from a crystalline
depression of bluish flame. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular
monolith is on the ground.
You see a single exit leading down.

Or this:

A panoramic view of the City.
Brass, bronze, and iron bells of tremendous girth fill the entire length and
breadth of this very constricted room. A magnificent view of Magnagora may be obtained by peering over the skulls of various stone gargoyles that cast watchful eyes in every direction over the city. A little to the south, the Great Southern Highway meanders away past the City Gates. To the east, a multitude of citizens can be seen assembled at the Atropos Plaza and spreading out directly to the west is the Necropolis. A wooden ladder is affixed to one wall, offering an unsteady exit below. Hanging down from the ceiling, a bell made out of solid bronze is here. A raised dais of obsidian stone flares with the fires from a crystalline depression of bluish flame. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A grizzled old rat sits here, fearlessly.
You see a single exit leading down.

depending on whether or not I have it set to brief or verbose. Note that as of this moment, the prompt has a LB appended to the end. Room name is non-bold ansii yellow, long desc non-bold white, contents are non-bold light blue, people bold light blue.

The problem that I run into is that the Automapper will not consistantly update current position. It will do it for a connection once, and then not do it for the same connection the next time (when absolutely nothing has changed in either room, including contents). I have it set to parse for room name, not to verify by room desc, everything I could possibly think of.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had this same problem, and it's a quick fix. Go into config settings, Room Exits, and set up EXACTLY as follows:

All options off EXCEPT

Room Exits
Multiline Exits

Exits Start Line = 1

Let me know of that helps!

I only play Imperian, but this should work in Lust too.
verbose, weather off, plants off and in the mapper settings, under "room description" turn on multiline desc and room desc changes.
