Error while trying to upload avatar picture

When uploading a picture for your avatar in the profile, PHP responds with this error:
Warning: copy(./images/avatars/46533435641eef158548ce.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /www/htdocs_emobius/phpbb/includes/usercp_avatar.php on line 227 |

Should still work fine. Just go to your profile and you should be able to upload an avatar. If you are having trouble, post the exact error you are getting. They certainly haven't been removed.

There's just no option in our profiles to select or upload one at all... I took screenshots and uploaded them, shown below..:

Ahh, I see the problem...you only have 6 posts ;)
The avatar option is something that you get once you have done a few more posts. I won't tell you the exact number, and please don't abuse the forum just to increase your post count. But you'll eventually get the avatar option. It shows up below the Preferences area at the bottom.

Hmm I have the feeling it may be rather a lot, since hardly anyone seems to have an avatar...  - Or maybe a lot of people just like me checked once or twice then thought it's completely disabled ~shrug~ |
