command line for v7.11 |
The highlighting is all messed up, I've been all through the colors section and it's only for the mud window, is there a way to change out the highlighting for the command line? Mine shows black letters when typing which is normal, but once i hit enter, the whole line is black and text is white. Is there a way to remove all highlighting all together so even when i hit enter it just shows black text on white background?

It is not really a different highlighting.
But it selects the entire line (in a different way than 7.05 did) |

Whatever it does differently, I wish they'd change it back to the 7.05 way. I have poor eyesight, and use black backgrounds for everything, with light colored text(white in this case). 7.11 selects it and makes it black on white, which I absolutely cannot view nor will I try. I'll just stick with 7.05 if this is how it's always going to be from now on. Hopefully someone will view this post and realize how it affects people who can't view white backgrounds.
Thanks |

Tellistto you should send an email to zugg@zuggsoft.com about this to see if there's any way to change it. There was a discussion in another thread about it and the reason for the change is that the command line use an old version of the Rich Edit control. Unfortunately I believe that it is hard to solve the "bug" but it might still be a good idea to make the developer aware that it decreases readability for some people.
