zMUD 7.11 spelling |
Right-clicked on a bad word and chose 'spelling...' from the menu, was given an access violation.
The correction features function OK. I didn't download any extra dictionaries, so maybe that's the problem?
Anyway, thought I should post it. |

Also, auto-correct doesn't appear to work the way you said it would... I misspelled 'implimented' and selected 'implemented'... which should have marked it for auto correct? Then I typed in implimented again (so I'm a bad speller of a couple of words) but it didn't auto-correct to 'implemented', had to right-click again.

Actually, it seems that the way the auto-correction works is that you have to choose the Spelling... option from the right-click menu and then click the AutoCorrect button in that dialog.
Does the Spelling menu always crash, or was it just with a certain word? If it's just with a certain word, then please post the word.
You shouldn't need any extra dictionaries. |

Nevermind, I found the bug. Man, I just have horrible luck with releases, don't I? I guess it's just impossible to have a public version of zMUD that doesn't end in 'a'.
I also enabled the AutoCorrect option in the right-click menu to make that a bit more obvious.
Anyway, I'm uploading v7.11a as we speak. Cross your fingers that there are not anymore problems. I'm really getting tired of these bugs again, and this version of zMUD was supposed to be fun! |
