Speedwalking & crashes |
Is there a a practical limit for the length of a speed walk? I tried setting up an unsually long speedwalk, and it crashes the zmud about halfway through it.
Btw, I installed zmud 7.11 tonight, but not sure this had anything to do with it. My old sppedwalks still work.
For instance:
this speedwalk works find:
3e2l2el5ejen2jnjn4en2jn2j6nenjej8nenjen4ejelelseselse2seslse18swswsk7slsleses2eleles2el2e2les2el3el2elel2eslesesesel3eseleselselsls2ls2le2lsesels
This one crashes:
2slslsl3sl7sk5sk12s2l2sl4sl2sl6s2l8s2ksks4ks3k2s2k2sk2sw4sks4ks4ksk2sk5sk9sl2sl15sl8sl2se3s2ls3l2s2lslsl17sk2s2ks2ks3ks3ks2ks5kwk3ws4w11ksksk14sl3sl2sl6sk4sw;.4sk2sw2k2sw7kwk2sk3sk2skw2kwk3wk2wk3wk2wk2w2kw2kw4ksk2sk2s3ks4ks2ksk3s2k6sksks3ks3ks4kwklese3lsesl3sl8s2kw

If I press ESC at the main character selection window to get a blank window and then enter your example, it works fine.
Did you have the mapper open when you did the speedwalk? If so, you might have a bad room somewhere in the path. Otherwise it might be something specific with your settings. But I can't reproduce it here.
And no, there isn't any limit to speedwalk length. |

This can be casued by not having enough resources for the application. Try breaking the speedwalks up into smaller pieces. Walk1, Walk2, Walk3, etc... I had a similar problem and fixed it by breaking the walks up.
