[7.10] Flashing command line |
When i write fast, my command line continue to flash like it is continually refreshed. I have tried to disable the spell-checker function and the problem is not so frequent, but continue.
I have a Pentium 2,4Ghz with 512MB ram so I think it is only a computer speed problem |

It's probably an issue with the Microsoft RichEdit control that is being used. I'll look into this but I doubt there is anything I can do to fix it.

I wasn't getting flashes on mine, so maybe it's graphics driver related? That being said, my lappy is clean of spyware, I don't use triggers, and my background processes are lightweight. It's a 1.7 centrino with 1gig RAM so in theory it's a little faster due to the 2 meg cache on CPU, in practice.. not sure?

You are right! The problem is mine : i have a background process that uses a lot of cpu for a very small time, during this time the command line show correctly the new words, but probably the spell-checking routine is in standby. When che CPU is free more than one spell-checking routine is executed in one time and i can see the flashing command line for a while
