[FIXED] Display problem (overlapping/frozen text) |
zMUD Version: 7.05
Once in a while, when playing on Zebede, new lines of text get appended in a strange way:
Every line but the last one freezes (they don't scroll up as new text is added nor are they overwritten). The last line just keeps getting overwritten with the new text. I've tried scrolling up and down, but the window's buffer seems to be messy too.
The only method of solving it that I have found so far is closing the window and reopening the session.
Any ideas what might be wrong? |

Try turning off the VT100 option in the Emulation Preferences page. Some MUDs have bad VT100 scrolling region implementations that can cause a problem like this.

It doesn't fix it for me when I try it that way. |

Hello, one and all.
A Quick question for you:
When quitting my MUDs, the log out messages aren't sent to my zMUD window. I don't get a good-bye, nor do I get a message telling me if I dropped anything, or how many games I've played. Now, this is normal for IRE Games to do, but, recently, my zMUD either doesn't wait for those messages to display them, or it just doesn't want to display them.
I can't think of anything I did that would make the windows not display those messages, but if anyone's any ideas, I'd be much obliged if they would lend their help.
Thanks in advance! |

Don't hijack someone thread. Heck, I don't think this is even a related subject. Start a new thread.
