Been up for about 8 yrs. I been there about 7 yrs.
At any point there are about 200-300 people on at the same time.
Helpful people, a newbie chat channel with helpers.
Uses MCCP and gives ya a bonus for it in quests. |

As far as I know Aardwolf doesn't have any story or theme though which makes it a bit hard to roleplay. It is pretty much a mix of various areas and themes.

1) he didn't ask for a particular theme.
2) most of the stock areas are coming out, and there is a huge list of types of areas not allowed. We still have Star Trek and Star Wars, but I am hoping those come out soon. The area's currently in are all in a Fantasy setting. |

Might wanna mention that Dragons-Gate is a Pay to Play. Sadly not even a free trial (that I could find)

1st the above quote were the only parameters given within his question. 
2nd There IS a free trial DeathDealer if you click the "how to play" link it's the first thing mentioned.
lastly its only MY opinion that Dragons-gate is a good MUD to play.
I've tried plenty of "free muds" over the last 8 years and while they are free to play, i find myself returning to Dgate for a text based RPG with a much richer environment that most.

Sad to say, but this topic has gone on long enough. Simply searching MUD Connector is all your have to do to find a mud your are likely to like.
