Character overlap

Hello,

I have encounted a problem with zMud that I'm not sure on how to rectify. I play multiple characters on the same mud, and have encountered the following problem:

Both character profiles in zMud use the same login trigger, so it's the equivilent of having two identicle profiles (Except with different names). So,w hen I try to log in with character #1, it works fine. but when I try to log in with character #2, it enters the login information for character #1...

Another note that may or may not be relevant is I tried deleting both and starting over, and I made sure not to copy one character profile as a basis for the other. Additionally, when I right click and select properties, it appears to contain the proper information.

if anyone that could enlighten me as for how to rectify this, it would be appreciated.

Regards.

I use an alias to log in instead of having zMud automatically do it. I just use something I won't type accidentally, like an apostrophe followed by the first 3 letters of the character name.

I suppose that works, but I kind of liked being able to double click on a character and just start playing. Guess I'll just use an alias for that other character, for now. Thanks for the tip.

Um perhaps you could use a %title check and name each copy slightly differently?
