Not to offend anyone or anything, but I burst out laughing when I saw this on the forum registration page:

Yeah, it's pretty funny all right. It's like speaking in front of an audience and saying "If you can't hear me, let me know."

Yeah, you're on the right track there. If one is so badly visually impaired (s)he can't even read that humongous code there... how in the world is (s)he supposed to read that tiny little help text above it? :D

A screen reader or special browser will read the text to him, while it may not be able to understand the graphical letters.
